Aloo Bhujia Paratha

Ingredients:

1 cup of Haldiram’s Aloo Bhujia + garnishing

1 cup of whole wheat flour (atta) + for dusting 

A pinch of red chilli powder

1 green chili, finely chopped

1 tbsp finely chopped onion

1 tbsp mango pickle

Salt to taste

Haldriam’s Desi Ghee as required 

For Burani Raita

1 tsp garlic paste

¾ cup yogurt

Salt to taste

1 pinch red chilli powder

Method:

  • Take a cup of whole wheat flour in a bowl 
  • Add a pinch of red chilli powder, 1 chopped green chilli, 1tbsp chopped onion.
  • Ground 1 cup of Haldiram’s Aloo Bhujia and add it to the wheat flour mix
  • Purée 1 tbsp mango pickle and add it to the mixture
  • Add some water to the flour mixture and mix it to make a dough
  • Add salt according to taste
  • Divide the dough into equal portions & roll out each ball 
  • Add a layer of Haldiram’s Desi Ghee on paratha, sprinkle the paratha with Aloo Bhujiya and seal the paratha.
  • Place each portion on the worktop, dust with some flour and roll out into semi-thick discs.
  • Heat a non-stick tawa. Place each both sides till golden brown, basting with some ghee. 
  • Serve paratha with burani raita

For Burani Raita

  • In a bowl take 3/4th cup of yogurt
  • Add salt to taste 
  • Add salt to taste
  • Add 1 tsp garlic paste
  • Mix all ingredients well
